Once you have a general idea on your preferred length of drape, subtract the bed dimensions from the comforter dimensions to determine the drape. Standard mattress dimensions can also be found on our product pages. Under the "Weight & Dimensions" tab a "View Mattress sizes to determine comforter drape" link can be found. Some manufacturers mattress dimensions may differ from standard mattress dimensions. We recommend measuring your mattress. EXAMPLE FOR DETERMINING DRAPE FOR A KING SIZE MATTRESS: Standard Dimensions for a King Size Mattress measures 76"-78" (Width) x 80" (Length). In this example we will use the standard measurement of 78" x 80."
